Absolutely. We operate under strict privacy controls. Your manuscript is uploaded through an encrypted SSL channel, processed on secure servers, and never used to train public models. Once your edit is delivered, your manuscript and editorial files are retained securely for 90 days to facilitate revisions, after which they are permanently purged from our servers (temporary API processing states are deleted immediately upon project completion). We sign mutual non-disclosure terms prior to receiving any files.

You will receive a standard Microsoft Word file (`.docx`) containing native Tracked Changes and Margin Comments. This preserves 100% of your formatting, heading hierarchy, images, styles, and margins. You do not need to copy and paste text back and forth; you simply click "Accept Change" or discuss comments in your normal Word application.
