ALINE is a local, private processing engine that ingests your entire document structure as native XML nodes. It first runs a dedicated Stylistic Voice profile pass to learn your vocabulary and rhythm patterns, maps out all character nodes, and maintains timeline databases across chapters. Most importantly, it is a hybrid pipeline—every flag, comment, and automated line-edit is QA'd, filtered, and refined by a senior human book editor before it is returned to you.
Absolutely. We operate under strict privacy controls. Your manuscript is uploaded through an encrypted SSL channel, processed on secure servers, and never used to train public models. Once your edit is delivered and the 14-day revisions buffer closes, all text records are permanently purged from our processing states. We sign mutual non-disclosure terms prior to receiving any files.
We support translations from English into Spanish, French, and German.
Unlike standard automated translators that yield clunky, literal, and "wooden" outcomes, our system operates in five context-aware stages: first translating the global glossary and character atlas, translating sequence paragraphs with structural memory, and then running a full line-edit pass in the target language. Note: Literary translation is commissioned per target language. If you require translations in both French and German, these represent separate projects.
You will receive a standard Microsoft Word file (`.docx`) containing native Tracked Changes and Margin Comments. This preserves 100% of your formatting, heading hierarchy, images, styles, and margins. You do not need to copy and paste text back and forth; you simply click "Accept Change" or discuss comments in your normal Word application.

- **Essentials**: The system performs copy editing, and a senior editor audits high-conviction edits via a QA checklist to catch anomalous suggestions.
- **Standard**: Adds a human continuity audit, editing report compilation, and structural dashboard alignment checks by a primary editor.
- **Complete**: A senior human editor reads the entire manuscript front-to-back, matching the automated metrics with the "soul" of the text, writing in-depth developmental margin comments, and providing a second round of edits after your revisions.
- **Translation**: A native-speaking translator-editor reviews and edits the translated copy line-by-line to ensure absolute flow and idiomatic accuracy.
